Borrowed Rainbow Aviary's

FREE BIRD PRESENTATIONS

Borrowed Rainbow Aviary loves to share their knowledge and experience with others. For the past 10 years Sherri Cross has done free bird presentations for non-profit groups and schools in Michigan and Florida.

These presentations generally run 45 minutes, and are customized to fit the group. For example, small children will get more of a fun experience with lots of supervised hands-on sessions with our tame baby birds, while other older groups get a more formal lecture on the care, training and feeding of birds. With all sessions, we bring along an assortment of birds, including cockatiels, parakeets, lovebirds, and parrots.

Conditions permitting, we will also demonstrate hand feeding techniques for those interesting   in breeding their own babies We ask that groups be limited to no more then 25. You must live in the Genesee County, Michigan area and be a non-profit group (such as day care, retirement group or social group or school. Give us a few weeks notice. Note that our birds safety is our main priority, and that open air demonstrations are discouraged. We also can not take birds out in extremely cold weather, so winter presentations are kept to a minimum.

The only cost is a room full of smiles.
